In October this year, Hive saw a major network upgrade, Hard Fork 26. This upgrade enabled one-block irreversibility (OBI). It means that most (but not all) Hive blocks become irreversible before the next block is produced. And as a result, most Hive transactions can become irreversible within a few hundred milliseconds. I don’t think we talk about this enough.
Onward to this week’s highlights.

About Hive
Hive is a decentralized network built on the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) protocol. This network is home to a wide variety of decentralized apps (dApps), including social media and games. These apps depend on Hive’s information-sharing capabilities, secure account layer, and fast and feeless blockchain operations.
